LESS CHAOS. MORE TRAVEL.

How to plan a
travel itinerary.

From your first ideas to days on a map: a simple approach to creating a plan that follows your pace.

01

Collect places before filling your days.

Start with a list of places that spark your curiosity: a museum, a beach, a neighbourhood or a restaurant you want to try. Separate your must-see stops from ideas you can keep as alternatives. You do not need to give everything a time slot straight away.

Tuko is designed to bring these ideas together in an itinerary on a map. The demo lets you explore the project: think of your collection of places as the starting point for a trip, whether you are travelling solo or with friends.

For a weekend, pick a few priorities. Everything else can remain an option.

02

Give each day a realistic pace.

Group nearby stops on the same day and check travel times. A map helps you spot unnecessary journeys across the city. Before committing to a visit, check opening hours and booking requirements on the place’s official website.

Make time to eat, rest and change your mind. In the homepage preview, switch days to see an example itinerary in Rome: it is a way to imagine how a list of places can become a day of travel.

A useful itinerary leaves room for surprises, breaks and curiosity.

03

Discuss ideas and build your trip together.

If you are travelling as a group, collect everyone’s wishes first. Agree on priorities and constraints: budget, daily pace and the time available. Not every stop has to appeal equally to everyone; some can be optional.

Shared planning is central to the idea behind Tuko. The landing page includes a small interactive sample vote to illustrate how deciding together can become simpler. Open the demo to explore the application in development.

Agree on a few shared decisions and leave flexibility for the rest of the trip.
